I don't think he meant to call him an ignorant just that his perspective to make a joke of the kick off was an ignorant point of view.I honestly think Klopp is in the wrong. I kinda cringed a little. I understand that he's angry about the lunch time kickoff's and that he learned that Matip got injured a few hours before but he could have handled it in a different way instead of calling the guy ignorant etc.
Matip injury also probably put him in a bad moodIsn't it that the interview was done really late after the game and he was irritable and wanted to get off home?
The boss swatting away a small insect.
This is really stupid, it seems we are the only team that get's 12:30 kick-offs. So the players have to leave leave Liverpool on Friday straight after training to be in London unless they charter a private jet.
This season it's been 1 at home (Everton) and the rest away (Wolves, Palace, City) if I've been keeping count correctly.I wanted to post it on the "Yet another early kick off" thread but its closed.
The case is I think now, if there is an early kick-off it favours us. The opposing team is more at a disadvantage due to not being as experienced as us at playing an early kick-off.
I don't know what proportion of those 12:30 kick-off are home, hopefully half? If however, majority are away, then its simply underhanded.
The guy was making a light-hearted comment in an effort to display some understanding / sympathy / recognition that it is an issue. Klopp was being a bad-tempered dick. If you don't think so, you're probably one of those people who is frequently thought of as a dick but doesn't know or understand it.
I am tbh, not so much bad tempered but definitely a bellend. You must be one of those bad tempered bellends I was talking about.
It's allowed sometimes.I am tbh, not so much bad tempered but definitely a bellend.
You need your fair share of bellends in this world otherwise everyone would get on just fine & we don't want that. We DONT WANT IT.It's allowed sometimes.

In an ideal world it would have better for Klopp to have handled it more coolly, but IMO his reaction is more understandable than some of you lot are saying. The issue's a serious one which (rightly IMO) concerns Klopp a fair bit, and the interviewer's tone-deaf approach trivialised it. Neither party comes out of it particularly well.
Mos def. They're 3 hours ahead (GMT+3). So as you say, prime time. There should also be a question in regards to why Newcastle seem to get all the 1730 kick offs. Its the prime time spot for their supreme overlords in the Saudis but surely that has got nothing to do with it.....
