For as amazing a player he is, doesn't it just make you think thank god we have such an arrogant fucking bastard in our side? He's all over the place causing carnage and he knows what he can do with the ball each time he gets it - THIS is what strikes fear into the opposition.

Makes you think we don't really have enough of these players and since Suarez haven't really been able to bring in anyone like this? Lallana, coutinho/firmino as dangerous as they can be are way too honest and as much as i love them, you kinda really want that mane swagger in your team!

Please bring in a few more like this in the summer - will change how teams view us!
 
I agree. He doesn't use his pace anywhere near as much as I'd like. He seldom really looks to attack a defender. Having said that, he does talk to his teammates, pushes them on and shows a bit of fight. That would be par for the course in a decent side, but when we're clutching at straws it's a comfort.

He's really really good though. Surpassed expectations for me and I think we're gonna see him improve further. Delighted we signed him.
 
I'm not even sure Suarez was cocky with us. He was just bloody brilliant at football.

Too much over praise i think. He was as shit as the rest of them as leicester. Wankers the lot of them. Goodnite all.
 
I don't think he appears arrogant.

Sturridge, even when doing jack shit swags around the pitch with an air of arrogance , Mane just looks well-drilled and hungry

Yes, and the other positive effect was that his teammates were drawn into more aggressive support play because they knew that, even if his dribbling in the penalty area broke down, it was likely the ball would break to one of them, so he was quite magnetic as an attacker. These days there's way too much waiting to see what a teammate is going to do rather than anticipating and looking to support him.
 
It's his first touch, close control and ability to scrap for a ball that gives him an edge. A couple of control and turns by him and Lallana on Saturday were exceptional. It gave them that extra half yard and that counts.

As for being arrogant, I've not really seen it on the pitch, I just see a player confident in his ability. I like that.
