So old toilet trip and home to Ars coming up.

How do you think we will do.

I think we've got two games just as big or bigger before we come up against them.

How we go in those will have a big influence on what happens with the mancs and Arsenal.

I didn't realise that United and Arsenal were back to back, an exciting few weeks ahead. However like has been said already, I'm only interested in Sunderland at the moment.

Utd will finish in the top 4.

Arsenal look more vulnerable bizarrely so they'll be the ones to beat unless Spurs or someone else can put up a credible challenge over the course of the season.

Given the bizarre results week to week I'm surprised anyone is brave enough to forecast anything.

The majority of the teams seem unable to find any consistency or keep their players fit.

How is all this resting and squad rotation helping?

The upcoming games against United and Arsenal are impossible to call, and considering we're as poor as I can remember that's saying something.

Trying to keep a clean sheet and hope the opposition make an unforced error seems to be the best game plan, certainly both United and Arsenal have a defensive comedy moment in them.

We've tightened up defensively so we've got a chance of getting something, but unless our attacking players show up for both fixtures then we haven't got a chance of 3 points.

I'd try Sterling up top by himself with Gerrard and Lallana in close support. They are the only three at the moment who can make something happen.

Might be the week Brendan gets sacked. I think it all hinges on the Basel game

I wouldn't be surprised if he's sacked if we lose to Basel. I definitely can't see them giving him more money to spend in January.

Arse, manure and ourselves are all poor defensively, but arse and manure create and score goals. We don't so i can see us losing both games without scoring a goal.

I think we will draw against Basel, and lose to both Arse and Manu or maybe get a draw against one of them and I think Rogers will be gone by xmas if the board have a good enough replacement lined up. It's the latter issue that's going to be the tricky one. Who is out there that's good enough and who will come to us?

If they manage to get the first goal, they'll close up shop and we wont get anywhere.
But if Liverpool score first, the idea of shutting up shop is out of the question. They tend to leave the till unattended with the drawer open.

Full of Christmas cheer, aren't you.

Lose to Basil, scum and the arse, and rodgers might be looking for a new job.
I think we'll beat Basil, lose to the scum, beat the arse.

The boss needs Borini to add some movement. And another youngster to blood up front. No pressure as expectations are low. Any striking talents we could drop in from the reserves/academy
