Man Utd will probably win the title, so for them finally knocking Liverpool off their fucking perch, it has to be Sir Alex.

How the fuck is McLeish not in there after winning Brum their first trophy since the dark ages?

Yup, unfortunately. And all that with the worst squad they've had in years

Pulis. Guiding Stoke to the FA cup final.
Actually that's a good call. I went for Coyle, turned relegation certs around and pushed then into 7th/8th place.

Roy Hodgson

A true hero, after being harshly and unfairly dismissed by Liverpooll he guided WBA from relegation to mid-table and proved to everyone that he's a top class manager who was constantly undermined by everyone in Liverpool

good shout, he was undermined from the start. worst of all by Dalglish: i was really disappointed he applied for the job in the summer because i don't think that ever going to happen for him.

Because they still might get relegated (although looks like they are probably safe now).

Agreed cant say til end of season including CL final.....

If Utd win league and CL youd have to say Slur Alex deserves it....

If Man City slip Tottenham fuck up and by a miracle we clinch 4th then Dalglish is a strong contender....

If Man City get 4th and win Fa Cup Mancini is a worthy mention.... Same if Pulis takes down Citeh.....

But then what if Ancellotti sneaks the league????

Too early to say....

He won a cup and had a great run in the FA cup too. They'll be safe in the league, but there's no doubt they've suffered due to their cup runs. Still a hell of an achievement for Big Eck.

Gets my vote after Kenny.

Mancini? Are you joking? A budget bigger than NASA's, no league challenge, consistently boring football, and knocked out of the Europa League by Dynamo Kiev? It's more sacking material than manager of the year.

I genuinely think the King is a good shout after the near-miraculous transformation he's brought about.

If I weren't allowed to vote for my own club's manager I think I'd go for Pulis. Ferguson's never going to be far away from an award of this kind, but they are where they are this season as much through other teams' failings as through their own qualities.

If Wolves stay up I think McCarthy will deserve a place on that list. There, I said it.

Its not easy breaking into the top 4 no matter how much money you have, plus a cup win is a good season for them..... Fair enough probably not number 1 choice but even so still an achievment....

I'd be very surprised if he wasn't sacked.

They probably won't sack him if he wins the FA Cup
I hope they don't, but If they have any sense they will get someone better in.

i said coyle. he's done well to turn dirty bolton in to a side that plays good football.

Plus he seems like a nice enough bloke

what would you think if Rafa got that job?

Half season: King Kenny
Full season: Owen Coyle

But I fear it's going to go down from here for Coyle at Bolton:

"On 10 November 2010, the club (Bolton) announced a loss of £35.4 million for the year ending 30 June 2010, with debt increasing to £93 million."

Doesn't bode too well for future transfers. Wonder if he'll move to Spurs or Villa when any of these positions open up.

any more thoughts... if we get fifth it will be a remarkable season because of the style we came back with from one of the most negative teams to one that was exciting and attacking.

Kenny has to get Manager of the season even if SAF does win 19

Fifth will indeed be remarkable. If we could just sneak fourth, it would be unbelievable (and the King *should* then be a shoo-in for the award, though I expect they'd find some bogus reason for not giving it to him).

BTW your avatar reminds me of a good line from David Cameron, who said a while ago: "I was at an event recently where I was introduced to a huge hog who was called Boris, but he was nothing like our Boris. At least the pig had its hair brushed."
