Poor first half. We look intimitated, nervous and edgy. Our younger players are finding tough to adjust and are giving the ball away easy. Our senior players are not helping either which makes it a grimm watch so far.
Still, one half to go and only one goal at least. Couple of subs and a good teamtalk and hopefully we can look like ourselves in the 2nd half.

Every cunt on this forum, on Twatter, the tinternet and the entire universe can see the glaring problems. If BR does nothin about it I just give up on his ability to do anything positive at Liverpool. If the changes don't work, fair enough but at least do something, anything!
Ps someone tell BR that SG and Lucas as deep lying midfielders don't have the skills to continually press the opposition. Hendo doesn't have much to his game either but he does have a decent engine so might be able to do this.

On the plus side this is great work experience for Rodgers, I bet he's learning a lot about management.
More important than any changes in personnel in the 2nd half, is a change in the players' mentality. They're playing like scared, concussed pussies and no amount of subs are going to fixed it if the players continue to not break a sweat on the field. I can take losing because we're not as good; I can't stomach losing because we didn't try. And today, we're looking totally disinterested right from the off.

Is this the position that people have been claiming was Allen's best position?
We've now seen him in Lucas's deepest position, next to Lucas, and now furthest forward. He's been absolute muck for 3 months.
Gerrard needs to be furthest ahead in this formation.
Allen offers ZERO in the final third.
Suarez absolutely isolated. Another striker has to come on, Gerrard needs to play further forward, Sterling needs to stop playing like a kid amongst adults.
Downing has to somehow transform himself from a championship player.
