I think he connects too few crosses to really score high today. No icing on the cake so to speak. But solid performance!

Surprised to see Moreno topping many lists. I thought he played great though some blame could be placed on him not getting back for the 1st goal (that would be a little unfair though).

Sturridge - Can't look past Sturridge forMOM for two classy finishes and without him would we have still won ?
Milner - an assist and a quality goal, plus he played well all over the pitch
Lucas - had a superb game, played far more attacking passes than usual. Good to see.
(found a red shirt with 100 passes in the game, with just eight going astray. No-one else had more than 71 (Sakho) and he was passing in a rather easier area of the pitch. 26 of those 100 passes were to Coutinho).

Moreno 4th for me.

Sturridge - scored 2 and won us the match
Milner - scored the first and set up 2nd with a lovely flick on for Sturridge
Coutinho - played the final pass to open things up for both the 1st and 2nd goals


Moreno was good and industrious but little end product, Lucas was busy but I felt he was caught flat footed by Hutton for the first goal
