1. Clyne – he is usually the one who gets MOM when we play shite, but last night I thought he produced the most complete performance of anyone on the pitch. Better in attack than in almost any game he played so far for us and just as reliable defensively. Won the crucial penalty for the first goal – which was definitely the correct decision.
2. Firmino – unlucky to miss out on the top spot, usually a goal and an assist (for the penalty) in a 2:0 game would get you that automatically. He is in a great run of form at the moment, but I think he can be even more effective once he develops better understanding with Sturridge.
3. Lallana – great energy, focus and end product. More of the same, please, Adam!
Honorable mentions to Joe Pirlo, who noticeably impacted the game after his introduction and to Moreno who had one of his most effective games after a horrible run of form lately.
