For me Maxi finished with a bang but started and finished the first half with barely a whimper.

Didn't watch the game, but looks like Kyrgiakos is becoming a candidate for player of the season. What a turn in the way people look at him.

Without being blind to the things he lacks, pace in particular, I've always liked him. Both his attitude and his actual play have been vital this season.
 
I don't think pace is important for a centre-back - they just have to be good at reading the game and dispossessing forwards. If a forward gets past a centre-back, then any centre-back is fucked, no matter how pacey he might be.
 
What's the sketch with him not speaking to Sky yesterday? Did they accuse his son of being an agent on the take?

I just assume he can speak English coz he was at Rangers for a bit and he's been here ages. Is he just shy or wut?
