OK, the first post was a joke, apologies to
@Morse.
Very difficult to select the best 3.
Firmino was the classiest player on the pitch and showed how a real playmaker should play. Always looking to bring others into the game, good to see.
Teixeira really took his chance, made the goal and was bright and hard-working throughout, even his set pieces improved after a jittery start.
Ibe looked reborn, couldn't be happier for him and for us. We need him.
Clyne didn't put a foot wrong in defense and scored the winner with a great instinctive dart into the space – can he teach Origi how to be a centre-forward?
Bogdan arguably had the greatest impact of all, without his saves all those decent performances would have been meaningless as we would have been 2-3 goals down after first 25 minutes.
I think I will leave out the goalscorer Clyne, although it's probably unfair. But I can't possibly leave out anyone else, so the 3rd spot is going to have to be shared:
1. Bogdan
2. Firmino
3. Ibe and Teixeira
