Man of the match - Game 10 - Leicester City - Away - PL

  1. Salah – OK, he's missed an early chance (where he was possibly offside anyway), but since then I thought his performance was exemplary: always a threat, always in the game, working extremely hard on defense and pressing. He's already undroppable.
  2. Henderson – if people don't give him credit after this kind of game, will they ever? He was everywhere and scored the winning goal.
  3. Coutinho – Phil is officially back with a bang. Still not 100% physically, so faded considerably in the 2nd half and was replaced.
Honorable mentions to Moreno for a good all-around performance, Matip, who just about held our circus-act of a defense together, and Sturridge for an inspired cameo.

Henderson did have a good game, and I was probably unfair to leave him out of my top three.

These man of the match choices are highly subjective. I guess I don't tend to include Henderson because I always want him to be Steven Gerrard and so he never lives up to expectations.
