I didn't watch the game - Can someone fill me in? How did Borini do? I guess I could read the BBC report but I'd prefer to hear your opinion. I read through some of the match thread and it appears we were a bit rubbish....

Borini was largely anonymous, but that wasn't really his fault. They pressed us in the middle and because we're so shit at moving and passing forwards they nullified us and he got fuck all possession.

Nobody played well, but Skrtel made a few horrible mistakes that Golem could have scored from.

Because Downing was the only to produce anything I think he has to be MOTM.

It's hard to pick out second and third.

Quite, poor performance all round really, the backline never looked comfortable, Skrtel, Johnson and Enrique looked like they were on drugs, Spearing was ok but typically one dimentional, Henderson gave the ball away constantly (though played a couple of nice through passes), Gerrard made mistake after mistake but his set pieces were upto his England standard, Sterling was ok, a few nice turns but generally out-muscled, while Borini was isolated for most of the game.
