The new-ish Steven Gerrard film, anyone seen it? It’s on Amazon Prime. Watched it tonight and it was alright, not quite sure though. Relived the “slip” and fuck me it brought back some scars.

To be fair, I don't think he EVER lived up to his name. The one time it looked like he was doing it justice, he cashed out at the last minute

I just honestly have no interest in what footballers do outside of the 90 minutes they play football for at 3pm on a Saturday.

Its the same as the celebrity obsession with TV stars and pop stars. Why the fuck do I care what these people do/think/talk about or any fucking thing when they arent doing the one thing it is they do that entertains me (their fucking job)

I dont (reeeeaaally) care what the fuck my family and friends are doing at any given time, and have almost zero interest in talking to anyone about ‘what they have been up to’ to the point where I would walk across the street or dip into a doorway to avoid one of those boring as ‘How are you mate, what you up to’ kind of chats when im just vacant behind the eyes thinking ‘I honestly dont give a good fuck what you or anyone else is doing/has been up to/thinks/is planning’

I used to pretend to care and empathise and want people to be doing interesting, fascinating things and to chat about it.
Ive given up all that pish now.
