Now I don't know if it's just that I don't pay that much attention to other teams, inherent bias or what - but I was thinking after Ali's momentous header that this sort of thing always seems to happen to us.

Trent's corner taken quickly (ORIGI!!!), the Dude's double save against Shevchenko, Gerrard's screamer against Olympiakos, or the FA Cup Final one against West Ham...when it's the 11th hour and 59th minute, when the odds are seemingly insurmountable, something happens and we're back in it.

No doubt there's loads more we can reel off, because it always seems to happen to us.

So what's the Top 10 and where does Ali's header rank amongst these (if at all)?

How far are you going back? Some of our posters remember the 70s like you and I remember the 90s ... fuck, can't believe that was 30 years ago.

I'll say this, it won't be that high for me for 'magic' but in terms of sheer happiness for the person/team/club etc at one go, it's probably top 3 based on the realities surrounding the man and the tragedy that he went through.

I guess as far back as memories go...unlike you I barely remember the 90s - last week is a struggle sometimes!

My memory is shocking, but I can remember useless facts. So, that's something, I suppose.

Garcia's ghost goal

Collymore's winner against Newcastle

McAllister against Everton

Origi vs Everton

Salah's goal against Man U last season

Does Lallana's goal last season count? I thought we'd lost and had given up hope.

It didn't win us the league in the end, but Stevie G's peno as time was running out V Fulham a few years back, to keep us at the front of the pack.

Oh, and didn't Yossi score with the last touch of the game at Craven Cottage a few years before that again, in identical circumstances?

FA Cup Semi-final V 2nd division Portsmouth, back when Souness was boss.

0-1 down, the game is seconds from over, biggest shock in decades is staring us in the face... Last gasp free kick, Digger smacks a beauty, we're all up out of our seats... It hits the post. The INSIDE of the post and bounces out... We all slump back into our seat...

Ronnie Fucking Whelan!!!!

Not his best goal ever, but one of the most important.

Gerrard vs Olympiakos. What a hit, son!

Whelan tapping in after Barnes' free kick hit the post to equalise against Portsmouth in the FA Cup semi in 1992.

We've definitely had more than our fair share of moments like this. But all clubs have them.

Aguero against QPR for City
United CL final
Drogba against Bayern for Chelsea

But yeah, we're a special club and have a lot more than most.

Alissons header is right right up the Gerrard goal against Olympiacos, or the three goals in the CL final 2005, or Dudeks save.

Not in terms of the importance, but in terms of the reaction it caused. I was jumping around the living room making weird, unimaginable noises in a way I haven't done since 2005. A mixture of WTF and sheer disbelief. I've often thought I'd be bored supporting any other club.

If ever there was a goal that deserved a home crowd, it was that.

And I know some people in here are Liverpool Supporters only and not football fans.. but there's plenty of great examples from a few other teams.. inc dare I say United... To the point where i begrudgingly said fair play.

I'm sure most United fans were like fair fucks when we won v AC Milan
