Now, I will preface this by saying it's only my second year as a Liverpool/football fan, so take this with a grain of salt:
Last year, it looked like Luis felt like he was forcing a lot of passes to Andy Carroll, and they had zero chemistry. Now, with Jose Enrique and even Raheem Sterling, he just looks like they have a better sense of each other, an Andy's not clogging up the damn middle all the time.

In my 20s; randomly picked a number.
I live in the States, so it's always been basketball, American football, baseball and hockey for me (I have Phillies Sunday tickets). One day, I kind of randomly decided to start watching football, and actually asked my friends on Facebook about teams. A friend said I'd be right as an LFC fan, and a cousin loves Chelsea (I know). Just kind of went with my gut, and knew pretty quickly I made the right choice.
Now I've got my mom and brother into them, and am slowly switching my best friend from being a casual Arsenal fan with occassional emails about Stevie G. 😉

Good work CG14 - Keep spreading the news. 🙂 If you need anymore ammunition in your recruiting abilities show them this maybe. Barca and Liverpool fans swapping songs and scarfs after a CL game in 2007. You wouldn't catch many other teams doing that....

Ha, don't forget Jerzy's double save from Shevchenko at point blank range. Gave a little nod to his defenders and I think the confidence drained out of Milan after that.
I'll take a bet with anyone here and now that Luis Suarez will be going nowhere in the summer. He'd have been gone by now if he was thinking along those lines, but we stuck by him and he's sticking by us. The time to worry will be closer to the end of the new contract he signed recently if we haven't made significant progress by then.
I agree JJ. He genuinely seems to love the club and the fans. Just read an interview last week where he said that he doesnt care what the media or anyone else thinks of him except Liverpool fans.
I think you should know that your friend who said you'd be alright as a Liverpool fan secretly hates you. Though you did make the right choice. And when we're great again you'll avoid the glory-hunter accusation.

Looking back to last year, the Suarez - Evra row took a lot of the energy out of our team. He was red hot up to the case started, and never looked as sharp the rest of the season. It shows how badly we depend on this magician. He is a real star!! One we can be proud of!
ClassicGirl, the Doc's being mischievous. 😉 Your friend is clearly someone who looks beyond passing surface glitz and wanted to give you a gift that already has value, will last and will improve its value over time.
Ha! I'm not in the habit of trawling through old posts to vindicate myself/embarrass people, but if I was, I'm sure there's something to that effect somewhere. Now if I could just remember the time and the date...
