It seems one of the factors here is what Kenny & the Club did for him when Ferguson & co went after him. We may have handled it poorly, but it was probably the only reason to keep our best player.
While I totally agree with you, there are those who said we mucked it up and he must go. They are waiting for his form to go South before they come back to say 'told you so'

I'm among the many on here who say we are so lucky to have him, through all the rough times we've had over the last couple of years he gives me reason to believe we can still get back to the top, I just love watching him play! I genuinely believe we have the best attacker in the league and there's only 3 or 4 players in world football better than him!
We did handle it poorly from a PR point of view. We handled it the only way we could from the point of view of justice and, as you suggest, that's why Luis Suarez is still a Liverpool player. Integrity costs, but it pays in the end.
An amazing player and it's a real shame that events managed to paint him as a pantomime villain, I'm sure the loyalty shown by Kenny and many fans has gone a long way to making him want to stay. I was not one of those fans mind you it has to be said, I thought it dragged us through the mud and wanted him to STFU shake hands and move on. Time wins out along with the appearance of new villains ( thankyou Mr.Bale!) it seems i was wrong.... Im delighted he is ours still and loving the fact that he is the best player in the league. Please God we can buy someone good to help him out.

From the moment he joined us and made Evra look like utter shit, I knew he was world class. The guy is a menace to any opposition, he is world-class and I don't care what people think but he probably deserves to be included this season in that group that includes Messi, and Ronaldo - so I would say he is number 3 in the world right now. Even if he is not scoring he is creating chance after chance by himself most of the time, it is an honour to watch this guy, and if the rest of the team could give him that same support they did today then we would all be thinking of CL footy next season. I fear it may be to late for CL next season, and it maybe to late to hold onto Suarez for next season. Like the BBC commentator just said - "There will be interest for him" come summer. Oh the anguish you f*ckers !!!

his touch from Allen's pass to take it into his path and nearly get his hattrick was amazing . It was slightly behing him but took it into his stride perfectly .
I had a feeling that once Suarez started scoring he would shit goals like diarrhea. He really is a bit special.
