+£20M for Lucas and I'd bite their hand off.
I know Lucas has got a lot of fans, me included especially when it comes to his allegiance for the the club, but he's a player imo that is replaceable.
If this money combined with what else we've got could go towards a group of attacking-players, including a striker, winger and a player for the hole, we'd be a more balanced team imo.

Silly money for Lucas is about 2 pound 50.

I've also seen a very unbalanced midfield with him mind.
Now we're struggling to find the defensive balance, more often than not we've struggled to find the attacking balance with him on. Not his fault entirely of course but he adds very little going forward.
Silly money for me would be around £20M. Wouldn't sell for say £10M.

True, but that was mostly when he was alongside Mascherano, not Sahin, Allen, Gerrard, etc.
It shouldn't be still held against him, especially now. The current side needs a Lucas. That's the point.

And that is probably a valid point too.
My main reason for us selling if the prize is right is that I don't see him as an irreplaceable character in the squad.
I hope we keep him to be honest and that he makes me look a fool with that comment.

Our midfield is unbalanced without him. This is factually correct.
However, putting him in there doesn't rectify that problem. I think we should try folding up a bar mat and sticking it under one of the legs.
