Does anyone know what the split between people from Liverpool and people not is in Anfield, as a percentage?

I haven't got a clue. I was asked this before and I'd guess about 50/50 but I might be miles off. Whenever I get tickets for people the vast majority are for people visiting, and where I sit in the ground there's loads of OOTs so maybe I have a skewed view on it.

Ages ago I was working on mailshot software and I had the data for the Man U season ticket renewals, and it was only about 60 odd percent were in Greater Manchester - and that was 15 years ago. Anyone know what that figure is for us now?
 
Wasn't there a match when flights from Ireland were cancelled due to ash or fog etc and there were about 35k at Anfield?
 
I don't think I'm a lizard. But I did shed my skin just before Christmas and I have this new keratin ballsack, so maybe.
 
All the season ticket holders around us are local apart from a guy behind who is Dutch and comes every week , I think he comes via a Belgian airport as its closer, that's a lot if time expense and effort.

My local supporters club had around 30 season tickets and they are located in a town of 14,000 in Northern Ireland. I'd imagine that the bigger towns would have even more.

I regularly see a bunch of Dutch guys who come to every game.

I must ask... Is there fuck all to do in Holland and Scandanavia? Or do you all just really hate your wives?

Indeed. But if it wasn't for footy you'd still be off in a longboat raping and pillaging. You'd think you might want to stay home and do some fucking now and again.

I'm not from Scandinavia, mate.

If it was for our women only I'd gladly sit in a longboat in the middle of the Alps all day though.
 
Well anyways you northern european dudes always seem to be having the best time of anyone at the match. I think it might be something to do with the relative price of booze.
