I'm sure a few of you have heard of the place. I'm coming up with my girlfriend for the Borussia Dortmund friendly next month, I'm going to have to drive because the trains aren't working that weekend, so the plan will be to drive up the Saturday, drive home after the game on Sunday. I was just wondering a couple of things, firstly where to stay? I'll probably just go for a cheap travel lodge or similar, near Anfield, and then leave the car there and get a cab to Anfield, any areas to avoid, any to recommend? I've looked on the travel lodge website, they have places in Bromborough, Aigburth, Stoneycroft, that means nothing to me, I just want somewhere easily accessible, with decent parking! Secondly, will probably get a bit of time on the Saturday evening, not loads though, was thinking of heading out to eat somewhere, any places you'd recommend / areas I should head to? Same question applies before the match on Sunday too. Basically I'm just looking for a bit of guidance because I have no idea what I'm doing!
