We won 3-0. A few observations:

Bouzanis made one good save but distriubtion was poor.

Mendy was shit. Fortunately their rw got injured early on and he was spared further embarrassment.

Wisdom and coady were excellent. Look like they've played together for years! Wisdom was captain though coady did most of the talking to others.

Bruna was decent. Better than I expected.

Saric held it up well but didn't really do much.

Number 7 who scored the third was shite (besides the goal). Constantly moaning to the ref for not giving fouls etc.

Motm - Andre Wisdom. Special mention to Connor Coady too.
 
Oh, and the left winger started good then faded.

We brought on some huge striker near the end but he was pretty anonymous.

Wish I knew the names!
 
After reading the official, the number 7 I was referring to was Tony Silva. They seem to think he was superb. No he wasn't. Decent (albeit simple) finish aside, he ponced around like he owned the place... no pace (he outpaced someone slower than me for the goal), little evidence of skill other than him rolling it between his feet when no one was near him. Didn't take anyone on successfully. Kept diving and then moaning when he didn't get the free kick. Seems like a twat who thinks he's already made it. Shit hair cut too. At least he has black boots (unlike Saric's lilac and pink ones).

Wisdom and Coady were the standout ones. Wisdom looked much bigger and better built than most at that age. Odd how Coady was doing the shouting and "well done's" instead of Wisdom (the captain). I know Coady was England under-whatever captain, so maybe that's the reason, but it reminded me of John Terry thinking he was still England captain 😉

Edit: Fame at last! I finally make the Liverpool official! Me in the middle in the brown jacket, next to a rather despondent Oldham fan.

Yes, for £1000 😉

There were kids running around for autographs off anyone in a Liverpool training kit. I think half the people that signed them were just random fans.

Well they didn't want all of the focus to be on our SG now did they!

Is morgan the right back? He was fine.

The central midfield were getting overrun until we went 3-0 up. We scored on our first two chances.

Our number 4 in CM kept moaning no one was passing it to him, when he was stood behind defenders etc. Seems he needs to develop a brain.

No Morgan played striker against Exeter.

Suso is very Spanish looking - plays midfield.
