He's saying the right things but we will miss his pace and directness. I still think we need another player wing forward.
But with Phil coming back, Sturridge already back and Ojo's potential we should be able to handle it.
I'm more worried about Matip's absence to be honest.

His injury's not getting any better
Yeah well, "it's getting better" or "he's in a good way" is about the least positive thing he could say about his status.
They really don't seem to know what to do with the injury right now.
I'm guessing the surgery wasn't a resounding success. Maybe he needs another one in the summer.. Shame because he really is a good defender.

He's been one of our top three players this season. I think he's still unbeaten this season.
I can think of a few others that would have been less positive... 😉
I think we'll be fine with Lovren and Klavan against Stoke but hopefully Matip is back against City.

The main worry would be that without Coutinho and Firmino, we lack that bit of a sense of unpredictability, that ability to be a bit cunning and to conjure up something. Sturridge has that though if you get him involved, he's as technically gifted as those two and has the ability to unpick locks against stubborn sides. See his assist against Leicester for example. We have to get him involved if he starts, but he has to impose himself too.
