So how are we feeling about this one lads?
Malouda is definitely out and Henry Winter has tweeted this....

Could it be a good time to play them?
 
If we play like we did in the first half or the way we have played for much of this season, we will get battered. Strangely though, I have a warm feeling about this one.

That could be because I've wet myself.

Not their best side by a distance, midfield especially.
Lets hope Essien doesn't make it but I imagine with Lampard out they'll be doing all they can to get him on the pitch.

Hmm, we're gaining form and getting a bit of confidence, and they're missing a few players.

Now I'd say they can only now beat us by two goals.
 
Johnson looks rusty as anything. His passing was all over the place against Napoli. Dunno if I would like to see him start.

Shame he got injured because he was getting his form back a bit.

I'd stick with the back four we had at Bolton.
We have looked more solid since Carra moved to RB.
That said, Kuyt is going to start and when Johnson gets a hand from Dirk, he's not as bad.

It's not about Carragher. It's actually about Kyrgiakos. I mean the guy is clearly in form, we have two clean sheets in the premiership , he even scored against Blackburn. But it's not enough I guess.

They were paired together against Napoli, I'm guessing that it was a test before the Chelsea game.

I'd be surprised if that's the pairing against Chelsea, Skrtel will play.
 
Skrtel and Soto as the centre half pairing with Carra at RB. Our defence looks fairly solid and Magic lacks match fitness.

We must take the game to the Chavs and close them down quickly. If we sit back and invite them to attack us, it would be like shooting fish in a barrel!

Keep Poulsen off the field.
 
I expect us to battle hard, make Roy proud, and lose. Possibly to a Drogba goal in the last minute.

Even off form and with key players missing, Chelsea are still better than us.
 
We desperatly need Soto in the team tomorrow. Firstly, he's been in excellent form. Secondly, Chelsea will rape us on set pieces and corners if he isn't in there.
