that would make sense if enrique was a right mid, but not sure how flanno being a better def has a direct impact on our left side? good for flanno, but kelly must be gutted. I always thought flanno was a bit to rustic inclined to hoof the ball out of trouble at first sight, if so I can't see us playing much pass and move from the back.

That team that was on fire at the end of last season (Meireles, Maxi, Kuyt, Spearing) are all absent.
Should be plenty enough to win, but thats a lot of changes for a team that was playing like cunts during pre-season.

I can see what neil's getting at. If one FB stays back more, the other one can bomb forward with a bit more confidence. Think Babbel scoring those goals in the Treble season, while Carra on the other side sewed it up tighter than a mouse's ringpiece.

Agree with the comparison between Flanagan and Kelly though. Maybe Flanagan's been doing better in training.

[/quote]Meireles didnt play the last two games of the season Spiderneil. And i dont know why you are being a prick, you know what i meant. I have concerns that we are changing too much too quickly. And THAT team that battered United, City and Fulham with some of the best football ive seen in a long time has been almost altered beyond recognition. But HEYHO as long as we get rid of the players that people dont like the names of eh.

maybe, but we're at home against sunderland, so I can't really see the need for caution. As you say maybe flanno is better at training. i will be watching what he does with possession keenly.

Through the village, which at the time consisted of a mini supermarket (from whom we rented our apartment) a few resturants to the rear with a posh chinese across the road beside a great take away that did fantastic souvlaki, and a couple of hundred metres down the road on on the right up the hill. There was only a smattering of developments where we stayed and not an awful lot more on the Lindos.

It was 45 degrees for most of the holiday with not a fan available to rent.
Luckily we were living together by then as we had to sleep in single beds because it was to hot to share.
The shower got a bit of use though 😉
 
Maybe Kelly hasn't fully recovered from his injury, or reached the required level of fitness ? Might not be a straight choice between them but a no option decision.

Thanks, that's excellent if true. I meant no offence with the annoying Yank bit, it's just that this whole "soccer" talk and countless adverts for Denny's and Pizza Hut started doing my head in
