I remember that Old Trafford game where Souness gave him his debut... I saw the teamlist and went "Rob WHO????" and began the match fearing that Giggs would score 12. 2 hours later I thought he'd become the best right back we've ever seen.

For sheer ability he may have been anyway. Even just the 12 months he played before his injury make him one of the candidates for RB in my idea of the All-Time XI.
