My contribution might only last 4 months as the J-League season ends in December. All to play for though. The Urawa Reds are currently 4th - only five points from the top. Their top striker a Brazillian named Marcio Richardes has got 7 goals from 21 games so far. Not as boss as the top man in the league though. The wonderfully named Hisato Sato has 15 from 21 games. He is someone I'm going to keep my eye on.

Also a little bit of extra knowledge about Urawa Reds. They have by far the most attendance in the league. Also their fans are known to be the loudest and have the most songs.

this is the kind of information that i don't even want to know.

I'm going to the Whitecaps game tonight. Got a free ticket it work. Playing FC Dallas.

4th against 6th.

Will be back with a match report.

Great idea!

I follow Shakhtar Donetsk anyway, you can write it in the list. Also Dortmund, but I don't mind if somebody else starts following them (you should!).

I started watching the French League occasionally last season, but I don't see a team I'd like to follow more closely at the moment.

So what happens now? Are we doing separate threads for each country or put everything in one "sticky" thread?

Indeed, a very good idea for a thread, & one that shows this difference between us & most Liverpool forums, in appreciating so much other footy.

Having looked into it a bit it's going to be quite hard to find ways of watching Pana. Even the dodgy site I watch all Reds games I can't get to doesn't seem to have Greek football. I might just have to smash a plate in frustration.

If there's still need for a German team I could do VfB Stuttgart, TSV 1860 Munich or St. Pauli. Or any team in Austria.

Down for Shakhtar Donetsk and Dortmund. Just pile it all in here.

Cheers.

I'll go to the Championship if I may?

Leeds Utd. The new lady is a fan and I watched them last week at Elland Road.

Was interesting to see Lee Peltier put in a good shift at CB and their RB Byram was very calm and assured on the ball for 17 year old. It was only Shrewsbury though.

However on the little I saw this Byram lad looks a good prospect.

Thanks!

Hope you stay with her.

New lady? hmmmm.

Well done to you Sir. My commiserations to the lady in question, of course.

I think that a sub-forum is the way to go.
