Two potentially tricky games back to back - Leicester at home followed very quickly by a trip to in form Burnley. I'd expect some of those rested against Swansea to start: Mane, Gomez and potentially Lovren too (if Matip isn't ready for multiple back to back games).

Might also be time for Lallana to start a game?

Gomez--Lovren--Klavan--Robertson
-------------------Can----------------------
-------Wijnaldum----Lallana------------
Salah-------Firmino-------Mane-------

I wouldn't be surprised to see Coutinho to keep his spot, maybe against in the middle 3. I don't expect Ox to start although I would like to see him on the pitch. We need to do our best to guarantee three points so I hope we don't see Milner starting in CM and I want Firmino to start down the middle.

Robertson will have his first real test against Mahrez and we will face genuine pace on the counter. I hope Okazaki doesn't play as he always causes a nuisance against us.

Copy/pasted from the other thread.

For Leicester.

Mane has been rested and Salah and Firmino got 30 mins break too. Unless Ming totally fucks up I doubt Klopp is going to rotate keepers, more's the pity. I know it's a few days but Coutinho doesn't seem to have been rested as much recently - maybe I'm forgetting something here though. I'd also like to see Lallana's defensive midfield aggression against Leicester. (as opposed to Coutinho's rather more muted contribution in that regard).

--------------------Ming----------------------

TAA ---Matip----------Lovren ----Robertson (reckon he's going to have to play all three)

--------------Gini-----Can------------------

----------------Lallana

Salah ------- Firmino-------Mane

Nice - i'd love to go out on the front foot with TAA at RB but I think Gomez might be more likely to try and reduce the risk of exposure on the counter. Unless we do TAA for this and then Gomez for Burnley.

For Burnley (copy/pasted again) :

I watched Burnley vs. Spurs and they gave as good as they got ... but Spurs murdered them on the break. Their confidence should be back after a down from that game too, with that excellent draw away at United. Easily the toughest of those 3 matches.

Spurs provided the blueprint - fast breaks. I also doubt Sturridge, Grujic (broken finger) or Ings are fit to play the match, let alone start. Maybe Ings for Firmino if he's fit ?

Wouldn't be too surprised to see Salah on the bench or withdrawn very early to save him for Burnley.

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp said striker Daniel Sturridge has sustained a muscle injury and is likely to miss this weekend’s Premier League clash with Leicester City.
Sturridge’s injury problems have limited him to three goals in just 14 appearances across all competitions this campaign and the 28-year-old last played in Liverpool’s Champions League win over Spartak Moscow on 6 December.
“Daniel Sturridge was ill and now (has) a little muscle thing. It’s not a big deal, to be honest, but in this period all these things keep you away from games,

Hopefully he can Karius to three points.

Liverpool team: Karius, Gomez, Matip, Lovren, Robertson, Can, Milner, Coutinho, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Karius....

We've been here before after confirmation Ming isn't the way forward. Hopefully something clicks with him and he becomes the keeper we need.
