We can complain when City, United, Arsenal, Chelsea etc get home draws to the likes of Barrow, Bolton, Barnsley and Watford! Able to put out mostly squad teams whereas we won't have that opportunity.
Exactly and we play at home. we'll have Nyoni on the bench with a few of our regular starters in case it goes sideways.I'd like to think our 2nd team can handle these after winning the cup with a bunch of kids last time round
Kelleher
Bradley Gomez? Quansah Tsimikas
Endo Elliott Jonez
Chiesa? Nunez Gakpo
Put the reserves out and loss. No issue.

Because we can’t challenge on every front. Why are you always so desperate for us to lose?
The u18 just lost against Arsenal againThe reserves are busy losing every U21 game they play because we loaned or sold every U21 🤣

It would be great if his wee mate was called Slit.Wonder if Slot has a wee mate to look after these fixtures like Klopp's Pep.
Assuming we have no injuries, we can play a pretty decent team without having to 'throw' the fixture.

CB is a bit of a problem but if Nat Phillips is still here he can maybe get a go. Nyoni and a couple of others can feature from the reserves.
I strongly disagree. We didn’t cope last year and the CL is expanded this year. The target should be top 4 spot in the CL table. Bin off the league cup and FA Cup when the time comes.Yes we can - we’re got a squad as big and filled full of quality as anyone else in the league.
Going out of the cups in the early rounds doesn’t necessarily lead to trophies in other comps.
It wasn’t our pursuit of cup trophies that torpedoed of league challenge - you could argue that going out of the FA Cup to Utd was something we didn’t get over.
Of anything, last season showed we can be successful while playing the kids.
Play the fringe players & kids that need experience AND win.
This is the way!!!
I strongly disagree. The target should be the PL and yes this squad has been right up there and knows what is required. It's not weaker than last year and in some respects stronger (experience for 'newbies' and young players). If Slot's tactics are up to it this season should be the season to go for it (Mo. VvD, Trent all no guarantee to be here next season).I strongly disagree. We didn’t cope last year and the CL is expanded this year. The target should be top 4 spot in the CL table. I'd prefer Slot & SlutIt would be great if his wee mate was called Slit.
It could be a new TV series on your favourite streaming service: Slit and Slot, top top coaches.
And hit a wall and explode and then wonder why.Building a strong squad and then not utilising it is absolute madness.
Win… keep winning… and keep going!!!
This squad hasn’t. It blew up right when it needed to put the boot down.I strongly disagree. The target should be the PL and yes this squad has been right up there and knows what is required. The new CL format may help us to some degree, a slip up won't lead to being knocked out and we'll be able to play squad players more often. We can go far in that cup.
As far as the FAC and LC go, I can empathise with your viewpoint but don't think we are there yet. The team Keniget put up (and maybe with the addition of some youngsters on the bench) is actually far stronger than most teams we'll play in either cup. Those will be important for keeping squad players involved, sharp and happy.
Of course it has. Go through the squad and see how many have been in a title race. This squad hasn’t. It blew up right when it needed to put the boot down.
