Is their a reason why we bought him?

If say give the guy a run in the side.. he can't do any worse, can he ?

I Felt the game last night was crying out for someone to get on the end of some of those crosses..
 
Start him on Saturday with Lallana. May as well give him a chance like... and Balotelli a kick up the arse
 
Give Lambert and Borini a go in 4-4-2 diamond, can't be worse than this 4-3-3 shit.
 
Just because the current isn't working, doesn't mean any alternative is better.

What we really need is the likes of Sturridge, Allen and Can to come back from injury. We'll be a better team after that.

We desperately need a win so I don't see the point in playing both of our bottom tier strikers, unless that is, Mario needs a kick up the arse in which case BR may drop him. Personally, the diamond, yep, but not sure about both Lambert and Borini. I'd love to see Lallana behind Mario and Borini, with Lambert coming on after they score and park the bus.
Early goal for us is crucial.

I don't see Lambert being any worse than Balotelli at the moment, thats my reasoning, if Sturridge is back i'd play him with Balotelli.
 
he hasn't been great as a lone striker, as that's not what he's good at. With a mobile half decent partner, I think we will see much more of him and what he's capable of. Which is certainly much more than Lambert, although, at least Lambert will put a proper shift in. But having said that, we don't need that with Borini up front as he's a serious grafter with good movement.
Two up front, Mario and Borini for me if DS isn't fit, one up front and I don't give a shit who he plays as the formation won't work with current player options.
IF he plays Balo by himself again, I think we will lose.
