Sentiment aside, what is the point of him? He has shown negligible evidence as a plan b option, he has done nothing to warrant another season, as such why is he still in the bench?

SincLair, with the promise of youth, pace and cunning, who is scoring for fun, should be on the bench. He would offer much more.

Rant over.

I don´t understand why we play Johnson or Lambert at all or even have on the bench. Johnson will be gone and Lambert should be gone.

Lambert is a player who needs a run of games to find his form. That's always been clear. He's not going to be effective coming on for ten minutes or so every few weeks. So why we bought him for that role is a mystery. There's no mystery why he agreed to come - he genuinely loves the club. But if you think, in form, he'll score fewer goals than Borini, you're mad. Lambert doesn't deserve the kind of disrespect he's getting. He's an honest pro - and England international - who, unlike that squealing creep Borini - would give his all for LFC if he was given a proper chance. You don't rate him? Well just say that. There's no need for the abuse.

I would give my all for Liverpool, but it doesn't mean I am good enough or that I deserve a chance.
Agree that borini is on a rung lover than lambert, but both are not good enough.

It's almost like you didn't read the post.

Made no sense to buy Lambert, that sort of player, used as an impact sub, to be on the bench. We were never going to get any sort of value out of him using him like that.
I'd rather ham him playing regularly than Borini in the case of an emergency, but we should have someone better suited to being an impact sub than both of them.
I like the guy and he's an honest pro, but he should never have been signed.
The boss will have some thinking to do in the summer, as none of Lambert, Borini, Aspas, Balotelli look good enough to be on the bench or backup to sicknote Sturridge. He should ideally ship all of those 4 out and start again.

Sakho had a nice run out in the ressies yesterday. At the very least that's what we should be doing with Lambert. He's not the sort to object. In fact he'd probably welcome it. Get him out on a pitch, competing.

Same with Borini

Get them scoring hattricks and make the kid strikers (Sinclair?) work harder

Lambert and John Bishop are melded in my mind into the same person, and whenever Lambert gets on I'm kind of stunned and kind of made up for him simultaneously.

It's a typo. It should read hung lover.
