The Kop hierarchy have decided to hand free reign to Jurgen Klopp as a means to stem the flow of poor results and misfiring hi profile transfers. Sources say Dejan Lovren, is first on the list. Guillermo Cantu, secretary general of the Mexican Football Federation, confirmed they had approached the 48-year-old to take over from interim manager Ricardo Feretti but that his desire for a break kept him from taking over El Tri.
"We spoke to his representative, but he said he is on a sabbatical and it would not be possible now,” he told Marcaje Personal.
Klopp confirmed last month that he would be willing to consider taking a step down from Europe’s elite for the right “project”.
