Surely they will be in for him in the summer.

What are our chances of holding onto him?

I would like to think he loves us and would resist but Torres killed off any romanticism i had left for the game.

I think Klopp will honour his contract with us regardless. And if the years with Klopp in charge havent painted a picture of how he is as a person and what drives him on, then you’d know that he wouldnt sign for a club with a toxic boardroom and their current set up.
Real Madrid are in a mess and why jump ship with what he’s buliding with us. It wont happen.

Story run in echo that he won't. He will honour contract u reckon before heading back to Germany, either to Bayern, Mainz or national Job. Didn't he say he would like to manage for too long, 60 and no more

Biggest club in world football. Isn't it on every managers bucket list to manage Real Madrid?

They need a major overhaul so he could see it as a great project.
Not anymore. The pressure, job security and interference from the president make it not that special. Managers like managing in the PL because they have more autonomy.

Klopp...i think he need to win something major with us before he makes such a decision.

They may be the biggest club in Europe but they're a fucking joke. Interference from the chairman, favouritism with certain players. Yeah I'm sure Klopp would be on the first flight for all that.

No chance, I know it sounds like a load of shite that its not his type of club but I don't think it is.

Klopp could already be managing Bayern or Man United to but these were not the right clubs for him. He certainly will have no interest in the Madrid job. He'll see out his contract with us, IMO.

Hasn't he already turned them down once?

Think he said something about not being able to speak Spanish being a factor

Thread title plus opening post doesn't belong to a serious media like us. Such tabloid clickbate based on pure speculation deserves an astronmous hair growing out Your arse combined with a cronic dandruff problem.

Not being a city/utd fan and doing the old rose tinted glasses routine, but why on earth would he leave us to join them? It's a mad house, and the only sort of managers that go there are the ones that know they're in for a couple of years before the sack, like chelsea. Klopp seems a million miles away from being someone who would fancy that. They're a massive, great club, but really badly run. Can't see Klopp touching that with a bargepole. Mourinho going back on the other hand......

Cant see them being interested unless we win the league

What? As if, he's one of the most highly regarded managers in the world.

Real Madrid have given the job to the likes of Ramos, Lopetegui and Pellegrini in the last 10 years.

Klopp has pretty much always liked the idea of a project, or being the underdog and of winning the hard(er) way, why would that change? It's an unlikely pairing from both Madrid's and Klopp's perspectives. They want Galatico driven instant success, Klopp wants to forge a team that will punch above their weight.

I'm not sure buying the worlds most expensive defender and goalkeeper fits with that underdog theory.

Klopp is in a very good situation now , why walk away for 18 months max at Madrid ?

It's a job for yes men, not great managers.

With Madrid, Chelsea and possibly Bayern Munich and PSG looking for new managers. Depending on how motivated Roman remains about Chelsea, I would say a top class manager would rather go to any of the 3 clubs over Real Madrid

Nah. You should not underestimate the power of Real Madrid. Most good managers would jump on that project. Only need to look at those 15 that jumped on that project over the last 12-13 years.

Not many managers get £200k/week. Pep possibly? Mourinho bummed the mancs in getting that. Who else is?

So it’s just not Madrid that pays less than ten mill a year. It’s pretty much everyone.
