So It's come to that time when I need to apply for a place for my lad in school. He starts in September but the entries close this week. Has anyone got any experience with this? @The Nomad We share Nipper birthdays so I'm guessing this is the same for you. It's a fucking nasty cut throat world out there I have discovered. All kind of cheeky tactics to get the little ones into a boss school. I have visited 5 in my catchment area and have pretty much settled on one but it's a fucking tightrope. They only accept 30 reception kiddies a year! Then it comes down to order of choice and a few other nuts things. Happily all the schools here are the mutts so It will all work out. Anyway if anyone has any tips or stories of parental angst - Let me know.
