Kewell's still got it...

I still remember the feeling of dread when he was named in the starting XI in 2005 during that game.

I sponsor one of the other players in Heart's team - or my pub does.

They're having a terrible season - I normally buy a season ticket and try to get along for as many games as I can - but it's a struggle this year.

Melbourne Derby on Sat - should be fun.

Just moved back to Australia. What's your pub called?
Thought about going to watch a game for Kewell, maybe not anymore!
Will wait for Del Piero or Heskey!

That's cause he is Australia's best ever footballer...

Interesting. How do you sponsor a player?

Yep - you pay the club money.

I waiting for Melbourne Heart to sign an ex-Liverpool player who isn't Harry Kewell.

Was devastated Heart didn't sign Robbie Fowler when he was over here.

I don't say this lightly. Biggest Wanker to play for our club in the past 20 years. I don't mind wankers who play well and love the club. This was just a selfish, awful specimen of a human. No passion for the shirt. Just himself. Oh and he cost us the Cl in 2007 too.

Doesn't Diouf win that one?, totally agree with what you are saying though, he was a pure wage thief, that was all he gave a fuck about.

He was supposed to be that mythical final piece in the jigsaw, thats what kept getting banded round at the time, was excited by his signing, what a massive letdown he was, can't remember him doing anything of note for us.

He was superb for the first 6 months until he got injured.

I forget, nothing sticks out out in memory of him doing anything apart from being injured, i do remember a goal he scored in Europe when we won 1-0 against some average eastern European team at Anfield, not that that is really worth anything.

He scored 7 goals before xmas and got injured and finshed the season and 2nd top goal scorer in his first including a goal in the derby and finishing top scorer in Europe for us.

i think his biggest issue was he had no belief in his body and was too afraid to push it after those injuries . I remember a game , i think it was early in the season or after he'd come back from another injury . Anyway you could clearly see a difference in the speed he was playing at . He was pushing himself and looked very good , beating players on the outside . What happened ? he broke down again and had to go off . I think that was the last time i ever saw him try to use some proper pace .

Poor Harry - people love to stick the boot in.

What's often forgotten is that he turned down bigger wages at Utd & Chelsea to sign for us. He even stood his ground when Leeds tried to force him to sign for other clubs because they were offering a larger fee.

He started well and as mentioned - got injured and it was a downward spiral from there.

Don't recall him ever moaning in the press.

On the cunt scale - Harry barely deserves a mention

yeah right. He barely tried when he was with us. who knows is that stuff is true, unless he's a guest at the imperial and you know the inside scoop? Athens is a case in point in not trying.

You have a better memory than me, i do remember that Derby goal now you mention it, outside the box right hand side of the goal wasn't it?.

I'm not sticking the boot in but he has to go down as one of the biggest disappointments in LFC recent history. Just in terms of what I expected from him and what he ultimately delivered. I know injuries didn't help but he never looking anything like the young lad who played for Leeds. I was so chuffed when he signed as well. Still @StevieM is right I never heard him complain to the media or act like a bellend.
