they're struggling defensively with him, so it will just get worse for them imo ... hope he makes a full recovery - nasty injury.
 
It's only a hairline, so he doesn't need rivets in his head or anything. Looked bad yesterday but he could be playing again in a month.
 
He is out for a ‘few’ weeks which seems short considering the nature of the injury. He has been awful for Everton

Yeah, shouldn't you be off a month for concussion, or something? Surely a fractured skull should be significantly longer.

Isn't any fracture 6 weeks?

You'd think a skull fracture no matter how small would be longer

No it isn't, he's been fucking awful for them.

He did look OK whenever I saw him play for Burnley, but he's a brilliant example of how a team's defensive set-up, style of play, and expectations can suit a player and once it changes, all of their flaws are laid bare. Perhaps his defensive partner at Burnley also suited him.

He can pass, and look assured when he's playing a deep role, but as soon as you play him slightly higher up the pitch, and he has to deal with players running at him, he disintegrates. He runs like the fucking Tin Man from Wizard of Oz and he turns like a supertanker.
 
I wonder if he will he need a Cech style helmet afterwards..

I remember that the Cech padded helmet was like a helmet a children's TV character used to wear... Wizzywig was it? .... I dunno... I think it was orange and it spelled stuff... I can't remember now... but I do remember laughing at him... Cech that is... not the character...
