Took him less than 5 mins to score yesterday and must have given Slot a selection headache now.

The boy obviously has a knack for scoring goals. Yesterday he's the one who won the ball in midfield, drove it forward and released Chiesa before he could tap in the rebound.

Klopp preferred Nunez last season and in hindsight that was a mistake.

The question is if Slot is ruthless enough to give Danns a £60+ million forward's minutes?

I have already said Nunez should be sold or loaned out... He has not improved and I said he would improve. I backed him and he has not delivered.

it’s a weird one because nunez has not had the typical minutes of a big money forward, on the whole he has become 3rd choice in his preferred position. sounds like not a big deal except that by making this choice slot takes steps down the path of selling darwin and there’s probably no coming back…

if jota didn’t have the constitution of a cadburys flake it would be a lot safer alienating the big money striker

you just know darwin will act like a tit if this happens, lfc removed from his social media etc, and he’ll cast a very huffy figure around the place.

if a really good offer comes in for darwin and medical advice is that there’s no current reason why danns won’t last the season then i’d let darwin go without replacement until the summer yes, will slot allow that? no. everything we’ve seen of his team selections and rotation says risk averse.

If we beat Lille in the CL later this month we'll have another game where Slot has the opportunity to rotate the entire team.

Hopefully, we get another home draw against a lower league team in the next round of the FA cup.

Unfortunately even if Nunez is sold, Slot would demand that we buy another striker. Don't see him giving that "slot" to Danns without him proving himself by playing regularly.

We are losing a fuck tonne of money on Nunez regardless if we carry on playing him or not.

Getting game time for Danns will help him long term and any goals he contributes will help short term.

I agree, if we win something this season we'd probably have to pay his old club more money.

Everyone except Nunez did well. It's a league 2 team. Morton will be loaned out or sold by the end of January.

Danns should be given minutes in the PL. he can’t do any worse than No-Nez. We can’t be carrying someone who rarely delivers

In fairness he does make occasional contributons and passes but overall He’s just woeful.
