I'm not sure it was Spanish that she and the journo were speaking. The notices above her head and that of the guy who shared the split screen with her looked more like Catalan.

On the subject of Spanish women incidentally, Nick Clegg's wife is more than presentable IMHO.

Why the husky tones ?

Is it because they shout/smoke alot ?

I'm not a great Spanish expert either, but one thing I have noticed is the way Spanish folk pronounce the letter "s" almost as if it were "sh", from the back of the palate. Maybe it's a language that encourages that kind of more guttural sound more than most.

When I read catalan, I understand most of it as its between french and spanish.
But when they speak...Really weird language. I understand spanish more..
