Yea it's his fault he got offered s fucking huge pay day. And he had the audacity to say yes.
Funny how a significant amount of people on here were over the moon when he signed, even given the shit circumstances, the fact that it was motivated by the same desperation that causes trailer trash to buy their kids bikes on layaway at walmart, and the fact that Cole was clearly past it.

The idea of Joe Cole is way better'n the actual Joe Cole.
In theory he's a diminutive footballing genius who can control the tempo of a game and create a chance out of nothing (this theory is normally the one espoused when he is injured or not playing in the team)
But in practice he's a massive headed slightly downsy looking barrell chested cockerney cheeky chappie who more often than not does nothing of any note on the football pitch and rarely scores or creates anything but occassionally beats a man with a trick before wiping his massive head with his sweatband and being substituted on 60 mins.
And i still stand by it.

I was right behind you on this, Fabs. I saw the signing in much the same way as some have described the Sturridge signing on here - good player, shown it in patches but needs a chance to do it regularly, so why not with us? Here's hoping for a different outcome this time!

I thought a free Joe Cole would prove to be a great bit of business. I was well wrong.
In defense to us getting it wrong he did kinda replace Jovanovic whom by all means where Championship standard.
