Decision time guys, who do you want it to be.

No wishy-washy Ryan type answers please. Names and reasons only.

Podolski

There seems to be few strikers coming thorough at a time when we desperately need one. That said, I think Lukas Podolski represents the best option available to us. He may have failed at Bayern, but I don't see that as a reflection of his talent. He's performed well at the highest level before and is currently scoring for fun in Germany. He's also adaptable and comfortable playing in the wider positions, as well as switching positions throughout the match. He represents the obvious choice.
Him and Suarez would be dynamite. I'm sure of it.

Lukas Podolski all goals of the first half of the season / Bundesliga 2011/2012 1.FC Köln

Hoillet

We're not desperate for a LW, but with Downing - unsurprising - looking far more promising on the right and this lads contract about to expire, now is the time to make our move. Quick, direct, tricky and comfortable going either way, Hoillet has plenty of potential to develop into a very dangerous player and we can pick up at a very decent price. Blackburn are a sinking ship and he knows it.

David Junior Hoilett 2011

Spend?

17M - Podolski
8M - Hoilett.

Check out that dummy by Podolski and then the one similar to the Suarez nutmeg and goal.

Class.

I agree regarding Podolski's stint at Bayern Munich as an unfair gauge. He was only 20/21 back then. His showings in recent seasons, and the way he has carried his team in the league is surely proof of his maturity both on and off the pitch. My slight concern though is that he's not the sort of out and out striker. Would prefer the sort of fox in the box goalscorer. That said, a trio of Podolski, Suarez + _____ sure looks devastating.

Well i've seen podolski play live about 10 times and he was crap in every one of them so i am not so sold . His goals return has been pretty average until this season but he's always looked very good for the national team and has a big name so i'd expect him to move on from Koln sometime soon .

Wouldn't be my first choice at all but who knows , English football might be made for him .

Anyway we'll probably end up giving Newcastle 40m for Ba .

He scored another header yesterday, didn't he? Think he's leading in this area statistically.

We need a fox in the box with a massive conversion rate like Hernandez has! For the amount of chances we create, he'd easily have 30 goals a season with us! If Andy Carrolls worth 35 mil we should offer the scum 50 million......he'd be well worth it in the end.

Podolski is a great shout.

I'd sign Soldado and Hoilett. Maybe Fernando Reges aswell if we got the money.

DM with added and skill and dynamism - Reges (17m clause?)
Goalscorer - Soldado/Podolski/Giroud/Leandro
Creative player (depending on funds) - Erikson/Hazard/Lucas/Hoilett/

I want that dodgy Ajax-rumour to be true.

£40M for Vertonghen and Eriksen.
