Snippets as follows...

Ince - Both parties (Rodgers/Ince) still very keen, will probably get done
Butland - Rodgers has put his faith in Reina so not interested
Gameiro - Still looking to get him in on loan if we can
Coates - Highly rated, needs games hence loan mooted reluctantly (behind Carra in pecking order at moment)
Downing/Hendo - Still something to prove but have picked up
Sneijder - Doesn't fit profile of player we're interested in

What dirty linen did pearce air?
I was coining the old phrase that Lfc never hung out the linen in public.
Suppose that died when the boot room was no more.
Now we are just a day to day media circus with cringy press conferences and slapdash interviews.

The people at the top are fekin incompetent, which is surprising since they have been managing a 'sports franchise' for years. This obviously filters down through the club and makes us look like super cunts every time someone opens their mouth.

Mate, it's 2013. There is this thing called the internet, everyone has access to infinitely more knowledge and information than in the good old days.

A little surprised at the Butland comment. Following the success of the youth teams and recent promotion of youth talent, its easy to draw up a list of 20-30 talented young players at the club who may have an impact on our first team over the coming years - players like Kelly, Sterling, Wisdom who have already come in, players like Henderson and Shelvey who we've bought in, McLaughlin, Ibe who seem ready to step up, Ojo, Sinclair, Rossiter who are the wave behind, and a host such as Robinson, Flanagan, Ngoo, Dunn, Coady, Adorjan, Pelosi who may be very good players for us, or at least earn us a profit. But nowhere in there do I hear of a good young goalkeeper - and that after we seemed to hoard them up a few years back.

Also said Anfield will be approx 60.000 when its done
The key word being when obvs, or if for that matter.

If Rodgers has put his faith in Pepe then I don't see anything wrong with buying Butland and then loaning him out for a year or 2 to keep his development going (think this is where we made mistakes with Kirkland and Carson). It's not a priority position but would be good to have a genuine long term option to fall back on if Pepe falls back into bad habits

I read somewhere today that Butland has said he will only move to a club where he is first choice keeper.

Yes - I saw that too, and that's fair enough. But maybe a loan-back would be worth considering. Perhaps, though, with money being tighter, its not our biggest priority.
