Just equate it to a Writers award and accept that this is the UK way to acknowledge astonishing achievement. I cannot believe there’s anything dodgy in the acknowledgment of BJM as being an example to any aspiring UK footballer. In fact it would be a tragedy if he was t.

Give them another few weeks and they'll be arguing over who's the biggest LFC fan and who has the better collection of panini stickers. They'll probably have roughly the same number of doubles but one of them will win it on the number of shiny emblem stickers.
