Liverpool can confirm Jack Robinson has completed a move to Queens Park Rangers.

The 20-year-old defender has made the switch to Loftus Road after signing a long-term deal with the London club.

Robinson made 11 appearances for the Reds' first team after progressing through the Academy set-up.
He held the distinction of becoming the club's youngest-ever player when he was handed a debut as a substitute against Hull City in May 2010 aged just 16 years and 250 days, until Jerome Sinclair took the record in 2012.
Everybody at Liverpool would like to wish Jack all the best for the future.

strange - being signed and loaned immediately. We could have just loaned him out directly. it's not as though we are dying to make a million quid.

Rodgers seems intent on shipping players out with no fuss then

Doesnt he only have a year left on his contract?
If Rodgers doesnt rate him then why keep him around.

He was never going to make it here and 1M is pretty good business all things considered.

I think the talks were started when Pulis was there. Maybe the poor sod isn't fancied by Warnock.

Funny that this is done on the same day Flanagan is reported to be close to a new long term deal.

Flanagan was never going to make it here either. Until he couldn't find himself a loan and found himself bang in position to take advantage of an injury crisis last season.

Just illustrates that apart from the very best young players, luck and good timing will always play a large part.

I hope we have sell-on clauses for all these young players we've sold recently for cheap prices, e.g. Coady, Peterson, Robinson, Kelly, etc. They could all develop into decent players and command a better fee in a few years' time. An extra million here another million there when they switch clubs could fund the recruitment of sought-after youngsters for our Academy.

Either £1m for Robinson is good business if Kelly is valued at £1.5m, or £1.5m was poor business!

Either way, it is good to see us at least clawing back a bit of revenue for players we don't think are going to make it. Losing a few youth fullbacks makes sense when we have just bought Moreno and Manquillo.
