Say what you want about Abramovich - when he spends big he at least goes for the big name players, - we spend big but end up getting a tit. Have no idea who was responsible for selecting and signing Suarez - but that was our last good/great buy. Yeah - BR has bought some 'prospects' but none of them have set the PL (or any other competition) on fire for us. Long term I really believe Borini is going to be a flop, I also think Allen is declining not because of a loss of form but because the opposition is now going for his weak points and he is losing the ball these days. The only signing this season who maybe worth something for us is actual Assaidi - but I don't think he is that great against tough opposition and will struggle.

Bringing bent in means moving the leagues top goalscorer out of position, that would be one down side.

However it's hard to argue that we wouldn't be stronger overall by having him in the side & Suarez on the left, but ideally you'd have two wing forwards brought in to complement him & a quality striker on the bench should we need him.

Well that is what I would expect to happen if Betn came in but apparently I'm an idiot for thinking that.

Fair enough then I can't recall him playing more than 1 focal point striker but if he will then play both of them up top.
