Went to buy my lad the black kit from the club shop. Buy one? Can't even order one.
Ok, we'll have the white kit. Err...that'll be a two week wait.
You can have the yellow goalie's kit though.

If not, loads of sport shops in Liverpoolone are doing free lettering when you buy the shirt.

It is shocking to be fair Sheik. If you can't get a shirt, what chance is there for people in the emerging markets that we're meant to be targeting?

Yes, you can take in a shirt and ask for lettering. Last time I was in I took in my shirt which i'd had for about 2-3 months and they actually replaced it with a brand new one as my was "creased". Result!

Last time I was in the club shop they had some bloke going round trying to sell credit cards. He came up to me, put the application in my face and said:

" 'ere yah lad, d'ya want wanna these?"

I said no. he said "fair dos" and walked off.


Nice sales technique.

yeah, almost exactly the same thing happened to me.

I've had a girl in the past make a damn good go of it, talking about how a proportion of the interest goes to the academy costs. I pointed out that as the interest rate was a good 4% higher than most other cards I'd be better off using a different card & donating half the savings to the academy, & they'd get more money too.

She just grinned sheepishly & conceded defeat by walking off.
