Back to your point, as everyone seems to straying a bit off what you asked. I don't agree with what you said, but I can see where you're coming from. Granted the results have not been brilliant Glock, but in quite a few of those games we've drawn, we've deserved a lot more, and it was only by fluke or a jumbo cock up that we've not taken all 3 points. I think if we played a few of those games another 100 times we wouldn't have drawn, we'd have won, so I'm not too gutted about that.
We're going to have to take a season or two of mediocre league placings/overall performance, even under the right manager, with the club in the shape it was when FSG came in. And I'd be happy to write this season off, winning nothing, finishing 8th or something, if it meant next season we were back in the top 4 and had a much better squad that can compete on all fronts. Look at last nights team, it was poor and they played poor, because we don't have any depth in the squad, that will all come in time. Rome wasn't built in a day.
Every club and every fan seem to want overnight success without spending 100's of millions, we've got to get real, unless you've got that money to spend, it's not going to happen overnight, and we don't have that money. So it's going to take our success a little bit longer.
I'll stick behind the gaffer and give him time, he's not a disaster like budgie, and I think if we give him a season or two, we'll defo be back up there in the top where we should be.

It's time we faced up to facts (rafa special) Glock, you seem to be living in our hey-day when had the best players, the best managers, were the biggest club etc. We're not any more, we've got to be realistic in our goals. You never know, our glory days might come back, Rodgers might lead us there and/or some billionaire might take his fancy to us, you never know. But at the moment, our immediate goal is to get us back into being a top 4 team, which at the moment we're not. Rodgers can do this I believe.
It was actually doing really well since you left. More posters, more interesting threads and one less troll. Perhaps you can leave us again for a few years and if we need you, we'll call you?

Sack him and get a good manager who will have different ideas to get us where we belong.
Glock, a big name manager doesn't 'always' guarantee you great results. It's more about the players, we need a better squad mate. I think if Rodgers had the squad of city or chelski, he'd working wonders and we'd probably be top of the league.
So just sign established names and don't take a chance on someone who could go on to work wonders?

We need everything in balance. Good manager can get the best out of the players we have currently i'm pretty sure of that.
