Tottenham fans stabbed in Rome after fight breaks out with armed Lazio supporters
Up to 10 English football fans were injured after being attacked by around 50 Italian hooligans armed with knives and clubs in a pub in Rome in the early hours of this morning.

At least one of the English supporters, named as Ashley Mills, was seriously injured, having been reportedly stabbed in the jugular vein, and is understood to be in need of surgery.
Dave Lesley, Stephen Tierney and Christopher Allen have also been named as some of the injured.
The violence flared ahead of tonight's Europa League game between Tottenham and Lazio in Rome.
A group of Spurs fans were attacked by a large gang of notorious “ultra” fans from Lazio in The Drunken Ship pub in Campo de Fiori, a picturesque piazza in the city centre, at around 1.30am.

They appeared to have been deliberately searching for English fans.
Council cleaners were this morning using high-pressure hoses to remove blood stains from the cobblestones outside the pub, which was strewn with shattered glass and bits of broken wood.
Around 10 Spurs fans were injured in the fight and had to be taken to hospital.
Two of them were discharged on Friday morning. “We are trying to contact various hospitals in Rome to see where the rest of them are,” a spokesman for the British embassy told The Daily Telegraph.
“We have found two of them so far, who were taken to San Giovanni Hospital but later discharged. We are also awaiting the report from the police.”
La Repubblica newspaper described the brawl as "urban warfare" and reported that the Lazio fans were armed with knives, baseball bats, belts and knuckle dusters.
The pub, which is popular with tourists and foreign students, was badly damaged.
It is believed police made some arrests at the scene
