Anyone suffered this?
I've had knee problems for about fifteen years, I was (I now know misdiagnosed) told it was cartilage problems.
Recently got really bad when walking downhill doing a mountain in the lakes a few weeks ago. Since then it's been bad, my new GP listened to my symptoms & had it diagnosed within a few minutes.
He's put me forward for physio but it'll be months before I'm seen, & looking online there's a load of exercises you can do to apparently make it go away permanently, involving hip & pelvis strengthening.
If anyone else has had this & has any tips I'd be fucking grateful. I've been living with pain in my knee every time it's bent for too long & having to straighten it constantly & repeatedly to alleviate it for fucking years apparently unnecessarily!
