I half agree Oncy. We've been poor in Europa all season, maybe it's hard for the players to be up for it? Or playing on Thursday's and them weekends is messing us up? I dunno.
I know for sure I'd rather win the FA cup than Europa next season. But no European football of any kind next season sounds grim and I wonder if it will affect many of our transfer target?

I want us to be in it purely because I want us to have as many competitions that we can win as possible, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
Regarding transfer targets, the Europa League is pretty much a laughing stock anyway isn't it? Players will come to us if they want to play for us, and because they can see potential for the future. I doubt many will see the opportunity to play in the Europa league as top of their priorities

Yep. For everyone who bangs on about 2001. Yeah, it was fucking magical, yeah, it kick started a regeneration of LFC, but we'd been used to medicocrity.
We've experienced being in the top echelon of European football again, this feels worse than a comedown, it feels pointless, worthless, & possibly thanks to a new found ego, beneath us.
There's more negatives than positives in the competition given where we are & our aims next season. I honestly believe we stand a chance of getting in the top four next season with no european football o get in the way, & missing the Europa league for one season to get in the CL makes sense every way you look at it, including financially.
