He played some decent passes - one in particular was great - but generally I think he's crap.
He should have an assist for that pass to Sterling.

IT was much improved from enrique. If johnson is out then i dont' mind him getting a few games.
I'm not arguing he was a thick cunt for that bit. Not at all.He watched the ball roll right past him for their second goal Fabs, just watched it. Ooh look, a ball, rolling, right past me.......doh.
I didnt like what we did 2nd half. It was a very defensive move and sacrificed alot of possession and we turned into a counter-attacking team.
Very rarely did we keep the ball for more than 6-7 passes. We seemed intent on hitting Sterling and Suarez very quickly. By going from back-to-front in such a quick manner, it never really gave our full backs the chance to move 20 yards up the pitch and offer some width. To me, it felt like we were playing with 10 men as Everton had more of the ball and when we got it, we were reluctant to keep hold of it, perhaps because invariably, when we got on the ball in midfield, we had 5 defenders behind the man on the ball which only leaves 4 outfield players ahead/level with play. I was surprised that with Shelvey, Allen & Gerrard in there, we didnt pass it a bit more and allow at least one of the full backs to get ahead of the play.
All that said, we did hit Suarez and Sterling and had 2 or 3 very good chances from that approach but we also conceded alot of possession & chances.

For me that was his only lapse (granted a massive one). The right side was locked down tight, and his distribution was much improved.
