I'm having a scrap with Scrote 2 over a Suarez kit.

He's raided his piggy bank and wants to run out and get a home kit with Suarez on the back. I've told him my distaste for such things. For a start, Suarez, who'll leave in a bit, and for seconds, Standard Chartered... I mean at least with the Carlsberg one you could get one without the sponsor. Now it costs you forty odd quid to not be able to opt out of advertising some Umbrella leech of a corporation.

Anyways, he just thinks I'm being a nob. Am I?

Yes. He's a child and doesn't care about what 'Standard Chartered' is all about. He likes Suarez, and as a kid should enjoy having a favourite player and being excited about such a good player being ours without being cynical about him leaving soon.

Let him enjoy being a naive child fan, like we all once did. Don't project your negativity on him.

Yeh stop being a nob Krump. Just explain to him and make him understand that there's no name on the back of any LFC shirt thats more important than the badge on the front

They wanted Torres ones last year and I said I'd only let them get kits if they got a massive dollar sign instead of a number and FREE CASH at the top and FOR DICKHEADS at the bottom.

Anyways, Mrs Krump took them instead.

I'll qualify my opinions by stating that even in my younger days I could never claim to be a fashion icon and I don't "get" fads like twisted jeans and beenies (is that how you spell it) or Crocs.

Anyways, if Standard Chartered or for that matter Tommy Hilfiger, Benetton or Gap want me to wear stuff emblazoned with their label they will be paying me and not the other way around.

Buy scrote 2 an old fashioned LFC top (pre-sponsor), stick a number 6 on the back and regale him with stories about Emlyn Hughes.

Make him get his own fucking name on the back and make them play footie till they cry. Push the little cunts.

I've got a signed Torres photo on the wall here from when he scored his second against Madrid. I just don't know what the fuck to do with it. I threw a mug at it when I was drunk but missed. My bird says maybe we should hang it up so it faces the wall.

My cousin, who's 14, gets a Liverpool shirt from me every year for his birthday which is in August. I got him Torres last summer. I don't know what I was thinking. But I feel really sorry for him cos he loves wearing his Liverpool shirts so much, he still wears it, ALL THE TIME, with Torres on the back.

Poor kid.

Is your bird Mrs Krump?

Standard Chartered is a perfectly respectable bank that does much good promoting economic expansion in the Third World. I would much sooner see them on our shirt than the variety of dodgy online gambling sites or loan sharks that feature on the shirts of so many of our rivals.

He doesn't want this. I'm gutted

Krump, stop being jarg (did I use that right) over the Suarez thing. Let him have it. Suarez could stay two years he could stay seven. Know one knows. Let him enjoy it before he becomes cynical like the rest of us.

As for the sponsor, he's only a kid so it means nothing to him.

[/quote] I seen those in the club store last week.
They look great but they seem to be made with a low grade mixture of nylon and polyester.
If he wore it he would end up sweating like a paedophile in a playground.

I've just replaced my lad's away kit which had El Cunt's name on the back. He got a number 7 on the new one and no name. If he asked for one with a name on I'd refuse unless it was Carragher or a legend from years gone by.

My lad has Torres on one shirt, my mate has Mascherano on his.

My youngest lad was 5 when he got the new black kit, so he got a number 5 on the back... and Agger.

I feel for yez. Hopefully Suarez will be here a bit though so he'll get his wear out of it.

Ahhh fuck it, tell him to get Krump!

How old is the child in question ?

As lovely as the pinstripe job is you posted, you'd have bob hope of getting a kid in something *old*.

Unless he's 4, or something.

The kits change every 2 years anyway. Suarez will be here at least that long. Get the kid the kit. Suarez is ace.

He got the Ajax away kit with Suarez on it.

It looks fucking boss. The only problem is I used to work for Aegon and I know very well that they're mostly nobheads. That doesn't differentiate them from the rest of the human race so it's not a fair point, but I'm arbitrary in my aspersions.

Krump, give in to the lads Suarez wish. Don't let your broken heart cloud your judgement.
