I thought pretty much the same. I also said to myself that we were effectively 2 short the way Shah and Morgan had been playing. That thought seems a bit foolish now after Sri Lanka and the innings against SA.
It goes to show though that team sport is often about getting the best out of the apparent weakest links. Strong performances from those 2 suddenly have us (temporarily) looking like world-beaters. Its the same reason we should get behind people like Lucas and Babel. If they can make good progress we will be so much the better for it.

It's been a decent watch thus far.

By the way how shit is Broad, his bowling and batting is average yet he manages to keep his place in the team. His dad's a shit as well.
