The toe-rag has just amassed 15 goals and 3 assists in the most successful league in Europe. That's more goals than Griezmann and Neymar.

Well done Celta Vigo you got a bargain.
 
Despite the Chelsea game, the lad was ridiculously underused, he didn't get any real chance for us.
 
I've actually watched a bit of Celta this season and while he does have some great games and scores some beauties from time to time, he's still not impressing me on a regular basics.

I think he's the type of footballer that thrive at one level (the current one, about mid-table/sub-top) but would struggle immensely if asked to take the step up if that makes sense. I also think he'd struggle in most other top leagues bar the Spanish.

He wasn't going to get a look in when Rodgers settled on the 4-4-2 diamond formation in 2013-2014 and rightfully so given the high level the team were playing at. He maybe should have been given a chance the following year. I'd rather to have kept him than sign fucking Balotelli anyway.
